Over a signing i bet 99% of people on here wont have seen play, apart from a few youtube vids.

We've averaged 2 goals a game under O'Neill and this was without Campbell featuring once, Wickham being injured for a while as well as Bentdner being injured for a short time......that's a good scoring ratio so I'm not that concerned really considering we faced Man City, Spurs, Chelsea, Everton in that run.

Yes we didn't convert any chances against Chelsea but on most other occasions we would of put at least one of them away and nobody would of been up in arms about a new striker. Campbell will be like new signing and his pace will be extremely suited to O'Neills system of play....

...if we do sign somebody up front then all well and good but if we don't then it's not a big prob. The injury situation in defence means that area concerns me more.

This transfer window hasn't closed and there is no way on Earth that this Cisse is the best striker we could get for a fee of 10mil.

Face facts, he's not even the best Cisse we could get within the price quoted.

Disappointing because I think he'd be a great signing and just what we need, someone to stick the fucker in the back of the net.

Shame he's off to the mags and all we'll hear from herein is 'stepped aside', a new manager is always going to have different targets though, maybe O'Neill and Short have a better option in mind. Although I do feel he will give them a fantastic lift once him and Ba are back from the ACON. Good signing.
