Getting silly now.

Cheapest ticket for the South Africa test match is £65 including delivery.

£95 with delivery for the Mound Lower.

thats not so bad for lords eve, i think we were asked for 70£ against bangladesh/pakistan i forget which. buggered it off and went to man city [last year] what a great decision. especially since it was day four and the match finished before lunch iirc

They always try and justify it by saying its x amount to watch 90 minutes of football so its good value compared to that.

Never been so much money getting put in through TV and sponsorship yet prices continue to rise, remind you of another favorite sport of this country eh;-)

That makes it alright then.

supply and demand, clearly people will pay it. If you want to blame anyone for these prices blame people for paying it the same as those who go to Man Utd, Chelsea etc. When the tickets aren't sold they will realise their mistake. It won't last forever as when we starting turning shit again they will be giving tickets away like they did in the 90's

Had every intention on going to day 1 v South Africa. Not a chance now. £65 + ticket, £30/40 train and then £40/50 spending money on the day, it's half a weeks money.

Infact, in my case it is a weeks money.

get yerself to headingly it will be a far better atmosphere anyway and far cheaper, their best view is £55 and you can pick some up for £40

I'll probably got to the first day at headingly but will only go to lords against the lesser sides when its not over priced
