Seriously. That was the most frustrating part about SB. Last 2 games should have seen us be more offensive.
 
One up front can work, it just didn't under Bruce.

Arsenal play with one up front but they get plenty forward in support when they are attacking.

Agreed. 1 upfront doesn't have to be negative. Just needs the right players, usually with a bit of Pace.
 
Should be the first question in the interview.

"Will you play the 4-4-1-1 formation?"

"What to you think of the 4-4-1-1 formation?"

It's fuckin serious man. We had a poll to see how upset everyone was about the Bruce appointment before he'd done his first interview FFS.
