Pitch inspector loves Liverpool. Best pitch he's ever seen apparently

Lives just over road too

Shiv will be looking to accelerate the run rate up to 0.5 an over once he gets his ton. Hopefully this will take him 15 sessions.

Perhaps he thinks its another 20/20 semi final?

Lancs 6 down and seemingly have finally found where they keep that annual self destruct button:-)

Edit - And Warks now 3 down.

With a canny knock from Saj, Lancs can probably still get up to 280ish?

Shame Shivs out instead of Troughton

Anyone know how many overs there'll get in at Edgbaston? Will they make up the time they lost for bad light?

Lancs looking very decent now. Unless Liverpool has suddenly flattened out it's probably a winning score

Both Warwickshire and Lancashire are going well. I've resigned myself to the fact we won't be on top going into next week meaning we won'tbe on Sky

Off for Bad Light at Liverpool, if that proves to be the Close they've only lost 7 overs today. Hope the rain batters Merseyside tomorow

As for Warwickshire, they're scoring very slowly. Will have to go a canny rate tomorrow to cash in on bonus points......

Not a great day but I'm hoping for an improvement in the weather ;-)

Warks only have 27 overs to score 165 for max points

Good old Chanders

I'm still confident that the weather will interrupt Lancs and hoping Warks track is to flat to take 20 wickets on.

I'm hoping for Notts racking up 500 and beating Warks and Lancs being beat by the weather so we're still top for next week!
