Wish I'd seen this thread last night. The miserable owld bugger.

We couldn't get on at Marsden once when Esh got on in their fixture at home to Shildon and won. The conditions weren't really much different but both sets of umpires on the day had differing opinions of what was or was not playable. Nowt we could do with the weather really.

Like I say, congratulations to Esh. Table doesn't lie and all that jazz.

Thanks very much...... Although the pitch at Shildon was playable - they just didn't turn up.
