Stop being a div, your first three overs were very good! An excellent batter smashed you in the fourth but it happens. You did really well in the field too.

We got 201, they got 170 all out with one lad 115*ish.
 
The tea's were shite :evil:, apart from that a great game in which apart from a great batting performance we strolled it.

i agree with you tom, andy done well. not bowling for a while and coming into bowl when someone has their inn is not easy. chin up mate.

Thought Jack did well behind the stumps.

Also, mentions to the Chris/John combo running out a lad Purcell style - not facing a ball and a mention to the lad who walked after nicking one behind when the umpire didn't give it.

All self-depreciating aside, I enjoyed playing again. My last game was July 22nd. :shock:

Also, all of Johns runs came in 2s or 4s. :lol:
 
Thought everyone did really well. Mentions from me for Chris, he batted very well and lost a ball when he hit a howwus! :lol: Jordan bowled canny and broke his normal 3rd Xi jonah tag hitting some sweet shots. Tom steady away as usual with a solid innings.

Andy you need to stop being so hard on yourself, let us do that for you ;-).

I thought the tea was canny, what there was of it.

Well played too mate. Runs and a very good tag team run out from you and Chris.

Aye I enjoyed my tea remember everything is done by volunteers. They were a great bunch of lads too, hope we meet em in a final on September 18th.
