been very dissapointing this season.

37 wickets at nigh on 40 a peice


by comparison Tahir has 17 @ 29 in a side that has been rooted to the bottom of the championship all season.

I just dont think Rashid is test class or ever will be and the fact he can bat a and field often glosses over someone who is no more than a steady stock leggie in county cricket not much better than Salisbury

Tahir is a different class to Rashid but to be fair one is bowling at headingley and the other on a dust bowl. I take your point about Rashid though there doesnt seem to be have been any improvement at all.

without wishing to make this post about Tahir, he has proven himself at other counties who dont play on dust bowls.

Rashid just doesnt have it to kick on to test cricket IMO

I agree - no issue with Tahir either hes excellent from what ive seen. I have even seen him get a hat trick live.

Are you jealous? ;-)
 
Disappointing yes, he hasn't really kicked on.

Saying that, he still has time. Spinners tend to develop a bit later (Swann, Tahir, even Mustaq Ahmed to an extent) so he still has a chance.
