I tend to agree, but there's no one breathing down his neck to take his place and in the middle east series against Pakistan we will need at least one spinner.

India are the best players of spin you will find, the pitches haven't really suited him and I don't think he's bowled badly in this test.

We have no-one else in his class.
 
Swann has bowled well here, he was causing Tendulkar to have a nightmare at the crease.

Our seamers have done so well Swann has not been needed through the series, he is still our number 1 spinner.
