We scored 117 for the loss of 5. Phil with a retired 42*, John, Edd, Paul and Rob all contributing with the bat, Lee and Roy not so much
They finished on about 70/5 with Scotch bowling superbly for 2 wickets, Rob got one, I got one (apparently a very good batsmen according to TVOR
) and El Bunto got one.Son of TVOR scored a really good 43* after he saw me off.
The Fullwell Step got off the mark in fine style with a glorious pull shot for four off the bowling of young Royston, finished Not Out on about 7!
Great game in great spirit.

We won by about 40 runs, we played 16 overs. We batted first and scored 117 for maybe 4
Phil scored 40 not out/ retired
John 25 not out
Rob 17 not out

Aye fair play to you lot you all played really well. Deserved win.
I will have you know I was second top scorer for us with a magnificent 7. I kept saying I should be higher up the order. Think I might ask for a transfer.
2 other things.... I didnt appreciate 10 men around the bat when I was batting commenting on my spelling skills. And if anyone mentions my throwing Orosso will be coming after yer.

I thought we batted well to get 117 of only 16 overs. There was some good bowling and that quick lad was a good bowler.
We bowled well with a special mention to Scott who bowled well especially with there two batters looking to smash him about.
Good game played in a good spirit(apart from their Sweeney lookalike who always seemed to be in the huff.). I think we were fortunate to get a couple of their best batters cheaply or it would have been a lot closer.
ps. Young VOR looks like a good player.

Decent standard of cricket all the lads could hold a bat and the bowling was very decent (well done the little quite spinner with the bins on he bowled really well)
Our two opening bowlers had a combine age of 130 years how class is that they didn't disgrace themselves either
We had about 4 proper cricketers on who with the exception of young VOR done nowt with the bat we have never got less than about 130 batting this year so well done to SMB bowlers
Fulwell step is a top lad for the record and the crack was quality when he came in to bat
Let's stuff those black and White bastards tomorrow
