This tickled me like

"He was in the Test team the next summer and for four years interspersed cavalier bursts with long periods of inactivity, carrying the drinks, being usurped by Liam Plunkett and Sajid Mahmood and enduring long dogged net sessions of well-meaning tinkering with his action to eradicate the famous shoegazing lurch of the neck during his follow-through. It was designed to avert injury and ended up with him suffering a stress fracture before he returned to his natural style."

The darkest hour is just before the dawn

Lad at work went to Lancs v Essex in the CB 40 on Sunday. Got tickets through work for £5 which is canny, but someone sold one to a tout who sold it on for £15 despite our company's name and £5 all over it so that might be the last we see of that offer.

Anyhoo, back to Saj. He said Lancs had the game won all the way through the match with Essex needed 12 an over towards the end. Saj bowled the 39th over and his first 3 balls went for 14

Another match winning performance, he's still got it.
