Class from Broad and Swann, just about keeps us in the game, another 30-40 would be class

wishful thinking

These are welcome runs, but the more England's 9 & 10 show what is possible the more it highlights how badly the top order did and what Shewag, Dravidian, Laxman & Tendulkar should be able to do!

200 is a great score the way we started. 220 gives a real chance in the game, an also means we get 10 or so overs at them tonight. 2 down and we have a game.

Can't believe people wanted Broad dropping. He's the only number 7 in the world with a Test century (as EB would have you believe the way he goes on).

In fact, Flower out. Batting him at 9!!

Pardon?

Ah but that century won't count as it was against a team of fraudsters

Swann out to a brute to a ball from Kumar, very handy 28 - 197/9
