Muchall is the highest run scorer with the highest average out of every single player in the country bar none in this competition this season. Hes averaging 100.

I'm all for criticising players but FFS

He's having a good run this year to be fair to him but I'm always thinking it's about to tail off like it always seems to do with him.

no it wasnt. As the ball gets older on a dry turning track it sticks in the wicket and becomes harder to get away. Having lost 4 very quick wickets, Muchall took his time which was the right thing to do.

Its ok saying Plunkett smashes it but none of the batsman bar MDV and Colly had any success at coming in and 'smashing it' from the off

In any successful one day side you need a batsman of the ilk of Muchall

Not batting like that you don't, sorry but I can't see your angle on that innings at all, it was negative and slow at the wrong time in the game.

Shirley all over now

We have seen approx 11 batsman in the game and bar two world class bats all have struggled to get the ball off the square

Borthwick looked like getting a wicket every ball in that over, even his rank long hop

Harmy on now, having a go at him for being a mackem ;)

would like to see scotty gripping the ball from the side to get more spin rather than looking like he's going to bowl a top spinner

WTF

The pitch isnt coming on at all and it just highlights how good and what class batsman that Colly and MDV are.

200 will easily be a winning score on this wicket

Oh and Dexter - 3 in 12 balls is a good effort by Muchall. He has realised we have lost 4 quick wickets, the pitch isnt great and he is playing the anchor role and letting the likes of Breese and Liam take the risks

Im totally confused now. They have better spinners and will back theirs to outbowl our ones.

Its not a 216 wicket as I kept telling you when you were slating Muchall.

175 was a par score

Its not as bad a wicket as your making out...it was slow poor batting full stop.

long way to go for Plunkett not to bat or bowl

179 for 12 if you take out the one partnership in the game
