The anchor role with 9 overs left and only 3 wickets down.... :lol: I don't know how many chances this lad has.... 2 good knocks per season and the rest of the time he is dross. Gary pratt robin weston, stewart hutton, jimey daley, nicky peng, michael gough were all far better home grown batsmen who werre shipped out way quicker than muchall... (Add kyle coetzer to that list at the end of this season too)

I agree but you were having a pop at him with nearly 10 overs left to bat. He has batted well here.
 
Muchall finishes with 11 from 19. Truly breathtaking stuff.

Still a good score this like, especially with 4 spinners (and I include Colly's off cutters in this) in our team.

Marra am a being wooshed here!?!?! Wtf!? 11 off 19 in the final 9 overs of a 34 over match. Came to the crease at 3wickets down. Innings ended with plunkett (a miles cleaner hitter of the ball even tho he is a bowler) not even getting a bat.

Talk about knee-jerker. Have u seen his averages across all competitions in ten years as a proffessional cricketer? (Often playing on winning teams and good pitches) :lol:

Muchall is the highest run scorer with the highest average out of every single player in the country bar none in this competition this season. Hes averaging 100.

I'm all for criticising players but FFS :lol:

no it wasnt. As the ball gets older on a dry turning track it sticks in the wicket and becomes harder to get away. Having lost 4 very quick wickets, Muchall took his time which was the right thing to do.

Its ok saying Plunkett smashes it but none of the batsman bar MDV and Colly had any success at coming in and 'smashing it' from the off

In any successful one day side you need a batsman of the ilk of Muchall

Good to see Carberry back ... interesting to see how he gets on the rest of the season and whether he's been discarded by England.
