I think the rule as it is now is OK there just shouldn't be ways around it. That lad for Philli shouldn't have been able to play because he had been on holiday.

From what I understand Houghton, Whitley Bay and One Other? can play people with 1st team experiance as our 1st's don't play in a high standard league. That fair enough as long as it is well policed and the best 1st teamers are not brought in for bigger games like cup ties.

Where has this come from?

:eek: As if:eek: :) understand from a good source this is very much in the pipeline I agree totally with you we have used it in the past for good reason but never to try and claim an unfair advantage

A meeting hasn't even been arranged to discuss it yet. Agree with what you and Pkhap say about it though.

have you played cowgate yet?
as they dont have a 1st team they have a few players who could get a game in all 1st teams so playing at 3rd team level look like world beaters
