no pressure for the lad, me you, chris and jordan will get through the overs, with the rest coming from john/ed/phil/tom.

I forgot my safety wink, poor Liam, I'm sure he'll score runs on Sunday, weather permitting.

There will be no overs coming from me mate. My shoulder feels like it has come out of its socket.

Hope to get through a few Monday night if required.

Cheers my confidence is still up on the bowling front after you took one for the team the other week and protected me and Liam from having to bowl at the Wearmouth tail ;-)

We were humped, on the phone to my wife, i said it was like the 5-1 derby defeat, she said more like a 10-0 loss :oops:it was just one of them days. We will fight another day. Up the hedgehogs.

Hopefully you's are saving yourselves for tomorrow night.
Unlucky lads - these things happen. Just got to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Fekk me!!!

that hauxwell who played today scored 101 not out earlier in the season for the first team:-|

He would have got double that today if he did not retire (he was out lbw iirc ). I may not represent the views of the rest of us today, but personally speaking I felt it but a dampener on our bowling, fielding and possibly (tin hat on) result. It wasnt just the 51 runs he scored not out, it was the fact he also seen out a lot of overs from our openers who normally get a couple of wickets in their first spell. From what I remember, when he retired they were 101ish for 0 from 14 overs, then after 30 overs they were 141 for 5.
