Anyway, if we can get back on topic................
Canny signings or what ?

2 relegated players
2 who couldnt get promoted with their last clubs
A Korean no one had heard of.

Most football fans would say not good signings. You lot however seem delighted.

mags won the intercity fairs cup, it was for the poorer teams of only one team in each city and you could win a game on the toss of a coin and occasionally your opposition would not arse turning up so you got a win and on to the next round, its was the professional games equivalent to a holiday and a kick about for the lads, no doubt they played properly but not anywhere near as competitive as the league back then or europa now.

west auckland won the first world cup well done them, its an important part of there history but not one person will claim there trophy means as much as pele's world cup medal.

fairs cup was and still is a nice achievement and it should be looked back with fondness but it was not on the same level as when europe became important, not least a lower level european competition.

its just one of many examples of mags needing to invent a reason to be proud of there club, similar to things like the west ham way etc. it is a bit embarrassing but we should just allow these kids to believe in santa because it makes them happy.

Or to put it in other words:

Someone who can play on either flank and consistently put in quality crosses, takes a great set-piece and chips in with the odd goal. Also, a player who got 11 goals from midfield last season in a pretty ordinary side.

A youngish, highly rated international keeper for free and an 18 year old left midfielder/striker with huge potential to be an England regular who also had clubs such as Liverpool chasing him, and a also well-rated young Korean, who's done well at international level and will do wonders to promote us across Asia.

Not a bad haul by the 3rd of July.

Well, you'll sleep well tonight won't you ?

They're shitting it mate. Ashley has pocketed £35m for Carroll and left them shopping in Aldi. We've taken tough decisions on Bent and Henderson and reinvested in six players, nothing spectacular but some very solid ability and some promising young talent, with more to come in the likes of O'Shea, maybe Welbeck on loan again and maybe more. Plus Sess will have a full pre-season. They've bought fuck all, sold Nolan, and Pardew has just about had enough time to fuck some WAGS and lose the dressing room so who knows what kind of mess they'll be in come August?

eh ? have I missed something ??

the only squealing is coming from you, so un-used to being on a level with the toon,
you are like a teenager running around with a massive hard-on, your biggest problem being premature ejaculation, as you found out on halloween!

You lot signed Swansea's left back yet?[/QUOTE]

what a complete tit this 'lad' is.
