I haven't seen in any of my posts where I have said that songs weren't sung about Bobby Robson by Sunderland fans, they were, and it was bang out of order.
The point here is that there seems to be some kind of re-writing of history or convenient forgetfulness of the treatment handed out to him by elements of your support and his treatment by the club itself which then seemed to do a massive u turn after he died in what could be viewed as an easing of guilt at his treatment.
I remember the journos giving him abuse as well so they clearly aren't absolved.
By the way I've been attending games for 30 years as well so don't try and be a clever fucker

Whilst they were signing Ginola, Asprilla, Shearer and Ferdinand, we were signing Cunnington, Rogersen, Colquhoun and Kubicki.

Great thread this mind but I can't help getting a feeling Deja Vu. It's a flashback to when you lot signed all them spurs reserves that time and declared you would be challenging for europe.
Lets face it, the signings you've made are either unproven or average, hardly wank material like some on here are going on about them.
