Both of our golden ages are long gone. Over the last 20 years we have mostly been on a different level to you and when you truly believed that your team would do us they got smacked.

Like it or not but we are seen as the bigger club and I had really nice trips to Turin, Barcelona, Milan, Frankfurt, Majorca and Holland a couple of times.

It's a bit previous to go shouting the odds. I honestly get the feeling that you all expect that sooner rather than later you will lag behind again. Not a wind up btw.

That is why we hate Mags.

Well you're wrong. What you've posted is history, of which yours only goes back to 1992.

Don't tell me it doesn't hurt like hell that your club has a chairman who's fleecing your club for every penny he can, yet we're a club that are financially sound, have a great chairman with the club at heart, and an owner who has bought into the passion of SAFC.

I work with plenty of NUFC fans and its hurting them. They're seeing us signing exciting young English players amongst others while you're trawling the french leagues for bargains.

Our house won't cave in like yours did. You got too big for your boots (Man U are our rivals now FFS ), you sacked Bobby Robson who would possibly taken you to greatness and now look where you are.

In our shadow.

I have to admit that I was seriously concerned when Robson was there.
He was a brilliant manager and I was terrified he'd break their half century duck.
What a relief when they booted him out of SJP.

The stupid Mags believed the shit they were fed about the job being 'one of the top managerial posts in world football'.

Step forward Alan 'Johnsons Paint Trophy winner' Pardew

I think it's this mentality that is hurting your supporters. After years of being more succesful than us, suddenly we've came along and started to overtake your club. The fans are so stuck in this "massive club" mentality that they simply cannot comprehend that we are the team that is looking upwards

How the fuck can our history only go back to 1992; yet yours goes back the 1800's? Like I said our golden ages were a long time ago.

I said what I believed a lot of you were expecting; didn't say I believed it. We are run by a right twat, no doubting that.

The SBR thing is all a bit tired now. The supporters didn't run him out of town. He'd lost the support of Fat Fred, parts of the dressing room and some supporters were upset that the team threw away a CL place. That's what happens at the sharp end. Personally, I was gutted when he left as were the vast majority of supporters. You conveniently forget the abuse some of your lot gave him. It all tarnishes the memory of a great man and shouldn't be brought into any kind of who can piss the highest contest.

I don't say this lightly mate but that's a lie.

spot on mate...but they never booed him, they didn't you know...honestly

Sorry mate but you are wrong. I was there, you read his own book see what he says; he was disappointed that lots of fans didn't stay around for the lap of honour. The fact is that we finished that season very poorly and the players fucked it up. The fact that SBR was manager doesn't mean that it should be ok.

Your assertion that I lied is no doubt based on what you have heard or choose to believe. It suits the argument that we are mindless mugs with delusions of granduer. We have some but so do we all.

That's true, they didn't boo him ........ in fact, the protests, outside the ground, were bigger and involved more bedsheets than has ever been seen at SJP

Absolute disgrace the way sir bobby was treated you dirty little shits.

hence in his later years he used to watch Sunderland as a guest of the big man who went out of his way to look after him and treat him like the gentleman he was. Can't think of any other person who could get our fans to sing his name after his death after managing Newcastle. We may have some arsehole fans but we also have some f***ing brilliant ones.
