I think essex boy could be our very own Bennidict from Sky. Has all the numbers when you need them but his patter sometimes is as dull as pigshit. Sorry mate no offence.

I would give Broad the one day series and 20/20 against Sri Lanka and see how he gets on in the India series. If by then he hasn't contributed with the ball, on your ear lad and take your tasty looking sister with you.

Tremlett seems to be a different animal than Broad with the ball in their hands. Considering their similar builds and attributes, this seems to be a bit strange .

Jimmy 'ONE TRICK PONY' Anderson? Remind me how many wickets Anderson has to Broad this series, or even Finn, having both played a game less than Broad. Look, its high time that Broad gets dropped, and the way the ECB favour him is pathetic. In the first test at Cardiff, when Tremlett had 4 wickets, and they were 8 wickets down, they brought on Broad to make him look good by taking the wickets of two tail enders. And as for his 'batting advantage', which I don't buy at all, and the argument is, 'if you play Onions or Finn then they cant bat'. How about pushing the boat out and getting Chris Woakes from Warwickshire? Had a good couple of games earlier on this year (I think) and has had a good season for Warks. Ajmal Shahzad can bat n'all can't he?

OH THE witch hunt is now on Broady...whose it gonna be next....Strauss must be coming into the frame

Okay then, we'll keep Broad in the team because he bowled Ricky Ponting in the 2009 Ashes so he's safe. And I bet father Chris has something to say the selectors and Strauss

I like the way you read extremes into everything.....

Broad is out of form and maybe a spell with his County might help = witch hunt
Anderson is good Test match bowler = one of the all-time greats

I'm beginning to think you're actually a lass. ;)

he is out of form but then te next text isnt for about 6 weeks is it??

in a poor trott of form no doubt

but if we dropped every player then KP, Cook, Bell etc wouldnt be in the side at present.

we dropped all of them for a spell and they came back and have been brilliant. We can't afford to have Broad bowling at Tendulkar, Gahmbir etc. and getting wacked all owa the park. Send him back to Notts, get Woakes in, and see if Broad gets better, then get him in if he does.

kp has never been dropped for a test
