Whatever it's like then there must be a good chance it'll be playable by 1.45, it dries quick (eg Whickham game). Think the opposition might not fancy a super slow Houghton pitch :)

i want the game played but their has been a lot of rain. i'm just going there that early to pick my end.hehehe

Aye I know, just optimistic that it'll dry well up to midday. If everyone is wearing studs I don't see what the big problem is anyway like, loads of the other clubs seem to call games off for nowt!

like i said earlier i want this game played, we haven't had a game cancelled yet! we also played last week in monsoon conditions v belmont and the wicket was ok.

Ha aye I heard that one was a bit inclement. Yep was having a go at the other clubs, day we played Whickham we were the only team that gave it a go iirc.
 
if this game is called off would people prefer to do the draw next game or still try to do it tomorrow....... dont like the idea of all this cash lying about the house especially as i have had a bad week on the horses and there are 4 envelopes daring me to spend their contents.........;)

if the game is on and we do the draw and you are coming down and have not paid the full amount then bring what you owe if possible........ cheers
