it must be a couple of records that went today for us. highest score from a batsman, highest opening partnership, highest total and biggest win, gerrin lads well done.

I think that Me and John put on more than 50 last year at Wearmouth before John crazily ran himself out.:lol:

How did you get on? And what chances do you reckon you have of the doc saying you don't need an op, really hoping you can join us in Essex.

Was poor in the field and my batting was a bit meh. Ed tried to run me out as well.

I'll need an op, it's just a matter of when. A scan on the 14th means that the tour would be about 6 weeks away and the op could be anywhere between 4-12 weeks I reckon. So chances are I can come, but I can't give a definite yet. (That make sense?)

Aye that's fine, just tell me as soon as you can. Will need you to book room as soon as you know if that's ok so it's all sorted. Didn't realise your knee was in that state.

he worth a place just for comedy effect.
at least their disabled lad could bowl and field.

Your not wrong. I nearly pissed myself when he did that dive for no reason following the misfield. It was almost as funny as the Umpire getting cleaned out.

Massive respect to their last lad for overcoming his leg injury and playing through it like. Given the way he bowled I thought he was unlucky to only get two overs.

Their bowling was pretty good all round and they fielded a lot better than us - they just didn't have anyone who you thought was going to bowl you a pearler.

the lad did bowl well. me and Phil were on about him on the way home. credit to wearmouth for giving the lad a game

another good knock from yourself.

not enough though m,ate. Felt fresh enough for 100 today disapointed although the lad I got bowled against bolwed very well getting loads of swing.

Pete's dad was umpiring us today, nice guy, he's not too impressed with pete's defensive game by all accounts though:lol:

Fuck you! yes a small bite. Nice to see you made up for that game last year.

Fantastic effort there Phil, congratulations mate its deserved.

V well done everyone.

well done Phil, although I have to question why you didnt bowl?. Bet you spent the rest of the day lording it in the slips ya lazy kernt.

Seriously though well done again mate on a herculian effort. Make sure Tom gets this on the honours board

Well done Houghton on a bit of a run at the moment. (see how sporting I am to other clubs unlike some on here;-) we lost in a quite a close game to Washington both team scoring over 200
