that would waste 2 overs.. no point.. the way colemans is batting we'll have lead fo 250 at tea
we will only need about 60 overs for the win man ;)

mustard now 43 off 37 balls 3 x 6s

219 the lead

Batting on. I think we could end up not giving ourself enough time to bowl them out. They'll probably make us bat again whether we had declared at tea or batted until we get out.

We'll still give ourselves a full day at them. At the very worst they will gain a small lead of sub-100 which we'll knock off with the likes of DiVo, Stokes, Blacky and Mustard moved up the order if needed.

Well if they make us bat again it doesn't matter when we declare since we'd have to score more runs anyway, and better score them now while we're in and motoring. On the other hand if they're 9 down at the end and 100 behind, then questions need to be asked.

It's all irrelevant now, all out for 586. Lead of 273.

listening to SteakPie now.. batting on after tea.. gogin fro 300 lead

Damn right. Remember, we'll play 'till 6.30 tonight, so we'll get a new ball for the last session tomorrow, not that we'll need it.

9 down now, hope the get to 600.

Edit: Maybe not.

25 for 1. Onions strikes.

I noticed that all 6 Lancs bowlers took a wicket in our innings so that's all 13 bowlers with at least 1 wicket in this match. That must be a record.

25-1 - Moore removed by Onions. Trail by 248. I'd imagine they'll have to bat all day to save the game. Personally I'd have declared at Tea but we've given ourselves half a chance.

Weather looks decent for tomorrow, 2 more wickets tonight and we will win it

edit gettin thorpy lad!
