whats your Lancy mates said this year....they surprised there top of the championship....I am tbh

Stunned.

Everyone, without exception, was tipping a relegation battle. Especially seeing as they are playing away from OT all year.

They've scrapped their wins so far though, they can't keep it up.

I dont think it will last either, but then your Lancy pals arent the greatest when it comes to knowing the strength of players in their side

We've won two by an innings, one by 10 wickets and the other two by 6 wickets and 147 runs. I would say only the Yorkshire game was 'scrapped' and that was only because it was rain affected. Perhaps the move away from OT has been a blessing in disguise? It will be hard to keep it up with such a small squad though, especially with the losses of two experienced heads in Mahmood and The Roof.

The two innings wins were impressive enough, although they 'only' got around 450 in both matches, plus the Warks game was in the balance and they should have lost it.

Surprisingly it's the bowlers who are winning games, and I've never rated any of them with the possible exception of Keedy. Is anyone coming in to replace Maharoof do you know?

Really?

very good I say

370 would have been off the hook

Agree with this. Lancs were 191 for 4 at one point and well set to make a big score so I don't think 313 is too bad. It's a shame we let 2 of their tailenders score 40+ but I have faith that Durham can easily beat that total.

Hope the rain stays away so i can watch some of the game this week.

I wouldn't complain if this was a rain draw

Most important is avoiding defeat. Lancs surely can't keep up their form all season?
