Everyone knarrrrrs wee the toon is mateYou can if you're from tyneside regardless of who you support IMO, because they call them 'the toon' or the 'town' as I've heard before believe it or not, because the club are situated in what most tynesiders call the 'town', i.e. Newcastle city centre.
To people from Sunderland and the surrounding area. the 'town' is the centre of Sunderland.
