What's the point of Ross County?

Tower Crane operator on site had a Ross County flag flying high first thing this morning..but instructed to remove it "on health and safety grounds"..I'm looking forward to him having a dig at the Rangers mafia working on-site later on..

What a daft statement. Why shouldn’t they be there? Or any of the small teams for that matter?
The same reason why Salford shouldn’t be anywhere near the league 2. Just had money chucked at them over the years. Whiles there’s actual clubs with fans and history in the lower leagues

More fool the actual clubs with fans and history for being in the lower leagues. If you’re a biggish club in the Scottish lower leagues you’ve obviously been very badly ran so deserve to be there, it’s not as if it’s a hard league system to progress in.

Still got to spend that money wisely/correctly, which in Salfords case they obviously haven't, mind you not sure if Salford have had that much money chucked at them. It seems to be the permanent whinge of fans of struggling clubs with big fanbases, that the FGRs, Salfords, Crawleys, etc all have lots of money chucked at them, and that is the only reason they are where they are, which isn't always the case, maybe they are just well ran, by people who know what they are doing, both in football and business terms.

Salford and, initially when they came into the FL, Crawley had a lot of money chucked at them. Salford were regularly buying players from League One and the Championship when they first came up, Richie Towell was on a ridiculous wage when he first signed and Adam Rooney famously doubled his wage when he signed from Aberdeen. It’s says something when a club getting crowds of 2,000 can offer more than one of Scotland’s biggest clubs who were competing in Europe.

The secret these clubs have isn’t so much employing people who know what they’re doing football-wise but employing people who know what they’re doing business-wise, particularly finding ways to circumvent rules such as FFP.

Urgh, hate them, finally got up there with my scottish team (Killie) and it was 0-0 with awful footy, and awful travel to get there.

One decent bar (out of the two we found), no idea how they are SPL but I guess they deserve it despite it being half the size of South Hylton
