Considering their ground only holds 42,000 I think it is safe to say 47,000 was definitely a mistake. Unless they've relocated to Tyneside...

Looked half empty on match of the day. Got to remember the attendance is just tickets sold not bums on seats, so must have been a fair few who bought tickets and didn't fancy it.
