Advocaat's interview on SAFSEE- reckons 4 or 5 weeks, only a possibility of playing right at the end of the season. Interesting to see what he goes with but I don't think he'll risk anything other than O'Shea & Vergini

Can remember when he came back from the really bad injury against Man City. He was a hero in that game.

Them performances have been few and far between like.

If we had anyone better then i wouldnt care...sadly an ageing crock is about the best we have.

But, yes, suspect we will not see him again

I think that's the end of Wes Brown's career.

As for Sunday, I honestly think that Coates is a better defender than Vergini - although if Coates was selected, it would clearly be a lottery where the ball ends up when he attempts to pass it.

As long as we don't see Coates and Vergini both start - I forget the game, but that game where they were passing the ball between them in the CB / RB position until either Coates sliced it to the opposition or Vergini sliced it out of play was one of the lowpoints of the season. Tweedledum and Tweedledumber.
