Was just about to post this before he scored. How has this lad not had a look in for England? He's not put a foot wrong every game I've seen him captaining the team about to win the league and yet 2 Everton centre halves are called-up, a side who have been poor defensively.

He plays for Leicester.....If Vardy played for Man United under 21s he would have been first choice for months.

And his scoring record does not justify his inclusion as first choice this year rather than the bit part role he has played? Same when SKP won Golden Boot that season, still hardly got a look in. If he had been at Man Utd they would have been calling him a world beater.

There's been eight games since the start of the season, he has started three and been a sub three times and withdrew from the squad for the other games. Between him and Harry Kane who would you pick?

Why? Do you honestly think Jagielka deserves a call-up ahead of him? He's about to lift the Premier League title for a team who have only conceded 31 goals. Edit, see below.
