Presumably they didn't mention York either? They're as much in the north east region as Harrogate are.

You are correct, they did not mention York, but they did mention Hartlepool who as I said are in the same league as Gateshead and currently below Gateshead in the table.

They did not mention Chester le street over 60's reserves or Hetton Lyons women either.

My point is they did mention a team who are lower in the table than another team in the region who were not mentioned. That can't be right.

I have emailed them by the way not that it will make any difference but it makes me feel better

I also have a funny feeling having watched a lot of the Heed this season that they won't be able to continue ignoring them.
