We gave up after a few episodes because it was nonsense and felt like we’d seen it all before in the film (and Ritchie’s other films).

Might give it another try based on the positive words on here in a few months.

We flew through it, it's only episodes and is better than the film imo

Gave up half way through the series. Every episode was the same. Posh bloke and cockney bird set out to do something, it goes wrong, they kill a few people and everything turns out alright for them. Rinse and repeat.

Most things that go from film to series tend to make for a repetitive show.

Don't know if you've watched the bbc series Guilt but I'd highly recommend that if you're pushed for viewing. Criminally overlooked imo.

Aye, Mark Bonnar. Crime drama set in Edinburgh (he's a lawyer), but it's full of very dark humour, wit and cracking sound track.

Watch the movie first. It gives background as to what's going on.

Fantastic series, the lead actor should have been Bond

I think that's a great shout. His head always points down though. Bond is a chin up character.
