The FA cup

Or alternatively lower league teams wanting as many games against premier league teams cos it's all about the ££££££££££££££££ are you stupid?
Are you for real? You and a few other clubs are rolling around in billions like pigs in shit and don't need another penny.

In contrast, lower league teams are scraping about for every penny they can get and an away replay against a Premier League team could set them up for years.

Your response says all we need to know about the arrogance of clubs like yours and the views of the haves versus the have nots.

What has happened to the FA Cup?

It used to be such a big deal from the early stages to the anticipation of the 3rd round draw. The thrill of giant killing teams and magical cup runs and the rare chance of glory at Wembley.

The run up to the Cup Final itself built the tension then Cup Final Day itself was amazing. Flicking between the coverage on BBC1 and ITV in the morning and early afternoon then settling down to watch the match and afterwards heading straight out to the filed with your mates and a ball and relive those moments in the match again.

That has all gone now. The heart and soul ripped out by corporate greed, destroyed by the ever increasing demand for money.
And not forgetting Cup Final It's A Knockout! And the cameras on the team buses as they drove up Wembley Way. My dear dad (long time dead...😕)used to get very excited about it - and close the curtains for the big match! Those were the days. 😀
What about the lower league teams young fans who will never get a chance to see prem teams appear at their grounds unless they get a draw away from home. Or they get a replay after home game and the lower league fans get a chance to go to Anfield etc.
Folks like him aren't bothered man. As long as the top few get richer, bollocks to the others!
Glad the games will be on a weekend.
Aye. Friday to Wednesday! 🤣🤣

Player welfare being cited.
Expect the next thing to be a reduction in Premier League to 18 clubs.
But which of the turkeys will vote for Christmas?

There’s a lad playing for Peterborough who’s played more games on his own than Man U have all season. It’s a joke.

Anyone defending what the FA has done here needs their head examined.

Too late marra.
The FA Cup was devalued twenty years ago when weakened teams became the order of the day.
As soon as Sunderland get knocked out there's no interest from me.
Another victim of the premier league.

If EFL clubs haven’t been given a chance to vote and have had the decision made for them then they should boycott.

They should also boycott the pizza cup competition also where PL clubs wanted to join and use EFL clubs to fluff their reserve players.
