Had a few lucky results that kicked started their season but ffs Sigurdsson the Icelandic world beater, Shelvey the Beckenbauer of Wales and Bony the Pele lurking in the valleys - you're having a laugh. Where did they finish last season? They won't be that much higher once the premier big boys get them sussed. No reason why we shouldn't get our campaign up and running this afternoon.

The 3 players you've just mentioned would walk straight into our team
 
They are better than most in the bottom half but still beatable and we should be looking at a win today.

P.s hope Shelvey plays he is wank
 
I don't like Shelvey as a human being.

I see no reason why we can't win, other than if he sets it up wrong, again.
 
They're not average like. They've got 3 or 4 really good players who'd get in most sides in the league.

They're a good team but I think we are as well on our day and at home we should be looking for a win.
 
Their advantage is that they have a manager who has been at the club for years and a settled squad so they have started the season running.

We are still catching up.

You may be right but they are way ahead of us.
 
Another of those teams where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. We have individuals who are as good individually as any players outside of the top 7 or 8 but seem collectively to produce LESS than the sum of the parts.

They well may be....... but they have a footballing philosophy built over the years that makes them good to watch. This has been passing possession football that has gave them a trophy. A trophy we were desperate to win last year. So they cant be doing that bad eh?
