These are biggest concerts in the north east by far, just a coincidence they have been at Sunderland. Strike action is aimed at maxiumn disruption to give you a better bargaining position. No point striking if it affects very few people

so they've opted to choose a Wednesday (when 1D are at the SOL) rather than a saturday when Kings of Leon are performing at a bigger ground in a bigger city on a weekend. Maximum disruption you say? :rolleyes:

i cant recall there being a strike when One Dirction played at the Arena last year...queer that

Aye, that's right, the same day as One Direction play at the SoL.

What a coincidence, eh? Almost as much a coincidence as discovering where the regional HQ of the RMT is ....

Not that I even know a single 1D song, and nor would I be using the metro even if I did and I was going to see them.
