Big Sam holds all the cards, he demands what he wants probably a big transfer kitty and good wages you don't accept then go and look around you and see how many experienced managers are willing to take it on with a small budget available. Short needs to back a manager and give him the funds for quality, I thought he was going to do that with Advocaat but if this merry go round continues any further over the next year or so the fans will turn on Short and he won't like it.
He deals in distressed debt, I don't think we will scare him.

Players have no respect for short term manager. Might as well appoint our budgie.

Hmm. Advocaat was only initially employed for the last handful of games last season and they seemed to respect him.

I'm not saying the players aren't blameless, far from it but we can't use a wild card, get rid of our players and buy a new squad unfortunately. Therefore the manager has to get the best out of what he has.
