It’s been a no for years. Never had better squads, never had kinder tournament draws, no confidence we can beat the top teams.
Should have been let go years ago, 7 years he's now been in charge

We’ve had loads of better squads mind. I’d go as far to say that Walker aside, that was as weak a back four we’ve had in my lifetime.
In the 00s we had Campbell, Terry, Ferdinand, Carragher, King, Woodgate, Keown, Southgate and then some solid premier league centre halves. We’re way short there. In midfield we had Scholes, Lampard, Gerrard, Butt, Hargreaves, Carrick. A much better selection and more depth.
We’ve got real match winning quality in key areas now and Southgate is not getting the best out of them, I think that’s hard to argue. But to say this is the best squad is a stretch

Not many would have him as their club manager. I would rather have Tony as the manager of Sunderland than Gareth. He wouldn’t get a big job once he leaves England

Should never have been appointed in the first place. What’s he done to merit the England job? In his whole managerial career he’s only managed Boro and got them relegated.
