Clearout of the poorer players surely.
hopefully those intent on belittling the club over this will shut the fuck up. They've played a blinder in appointing dick and its just a shame he didnt want to stay.
"one of the highest paid managers"
Clearout of the poorer players surely.
You were wrong yesterday to say it wasn't personal reasons. In fact you implied it was down to the transfer kitty.
You were wrong.

Doubt whether the hard facts will stop the whiners though
Gerrin looking forward to these 5 or 6 quality new players then.
Well there's one thing for certain, Dick has made sure we will get a better class of manager, just by keeping us up.Having Dick at the club has been superb, he has raised our profile, spoken in glowing terms about us, and the people, the facilities.
We have retained our league status, an now we start again, with a huge opportunity.
There are NO negatives, that does not mean that we expected him to stay, we simply don't know, and if the board choose wisiely now we will be in a great position, with a friend to tap up for his input, I would say that is a great situation.
We appointed a man once who was the second highest paid in the entire country and we weren't even in the top league................So up there with Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd. I'd find that acceptable.
What they offered him mint wages so he would put himself through the same shite as the last managers? Sounds to me like Dick has his head on right.http://m.sunderlandecho.com/news/lo...ges-offered-to-a-sunderland-manager-1-7281799

Or it could just be spin?
Me too

How did that work out then..........
Thats if you believe that, I don't.Attitude wise, yes. We can't put an inexperienced man in there or we're repeating the Di Canio/Poyet scenario again - players running the club. Bring in some proper leaders and break that clique.
We wont be paying manager wages on a par with the top four...........their level of manager wouldn't come anyway as we don't have the money to spend they require..........Not well. I'd like to see us try again though. How about you?
Wrong. Again. You're a master of invention.

Di Canio praised them, Poyet praised them and so did Advocaat.Any evidence that they're not?
