He wasn’t impeded. The contact, IMO, was nowhere enough to constitute a foul. Silva felt a tap and threw himself to the ground after the event. It initially didn’t work and the ref saw it for what it was but then watching it slowed down and seeing ‘contact’ he changed his view. IMO, a nonsense

It was a dive. But the dive made a penalty possible, because a player - a player already on a yellow card, to boot - threw a leg out at knee height, in front of a player running past him in the box. It was a stupid thing to do.
