Thought his ball control today was excellent and he has a decent shot on him.

Yes he has a good shooting ability for a defender but I wouldn't put him upfront just because his shooting is ok doesn't mean his positioning will be but saying that neither is Altidores at the minute.
 
He actually looked to be quite talented today. He always works hard and has a good shot. But today his passing, and little flicks and stuff. Showed more flair than any of the attacking players.
 
To be fair a defender knows attacking positioning well as they used to marking it also how some strikers can be decent defenders as they think like an attacker... Look at Yorke becoming a holding mid for us

i disagree, at right back he's average and gives the ball away gives nothing going forward, on the left he comes onto his strongest foot and creates space down the line and keeps possession, left Back is his position.

When he was played at left back he was that in the past though?

Your going on like its his second wind. Hes always had this ability and shown it but was a level below what we needed. Now we are 10 points at the bottom of the table he is above that level compared to the dog shit hes playing with now. He could always pop up with a goal and get into a crunching tackle, he also was prone to an OG and a sending off.

i think he's playing better but say you're right that shows his mental strength that players like Fletcher Johnson off the top of my head who depend on the team to play well, Bardsey doesn't hide
 
He gets what space he gets because he's a right back. If he was a striker, he wouldn't get a sniff as he's not fast or strong enough to get by centre backs.

Got a cracking shot on him though - was very unlucky with that one in the near corner.
 
Says it all when someone proposes a specialist full back as a forward. Not because he hasn't the skill but much more a reflection on a midfield devoid of creativity, wingers unable to beat their men and central forwards who cannot hit the proverbial barn door.
