just googled this as i had no idea what this was. why would any sane person pay £35 to run a 5k? from what i could work out there's music on the way around the route.
some young lad at work paid £30 odd to do that one where you get sprinkled in powdered paint. he knew i ran and asked if i'd done it. told him for £30 i would expect to be doing a trail marathon. more value for money though i mentioned park run to him but without the paint and the mass start and high fives he said it seemed too mundane.
Was there a party and that on afterwards? Forgot it was on as i was gonna have a walk over and see what it was like.It was a brilliant night if you see it as a night out rather than just a run! Plus I was really impressed that the shirts we got were really good quality tech tops rather than cheap cotton shirts.
It was great fun & anything that encourages running can't be a bad thing surely?

I run in the dark on my own / with the dogs on a morning & use a head torch, but would've thought it would be pretty risky for injuries running with that many people in the dark ? - easy to turn an ankleAye, there was a fair number there. It did look pretty good when you could see just a glowing trail of people in the dark, and there was a great atmosphere.
