MotoGP 2024

Imagine 5 years ago thinking the Japanese bikes would be where they are now . And 1. Marquez isn’t equalling Rossi’s nine 2 Pedro is special.

He’s f***ing brilliant isn’t he? Once he wins one race the rest of the field won’t see him for dust. Was obvious as soon as he emerged in Moto3 that he was going to be a bit special but for him to be this good this quickly in the top class will be more than a bit unnerving to the rest of the grid.

There are lots of really good riders on the current grid but he’s the first ‘alien’ level talent to come through since Marc.

That was some race. Best of the season so far. Pecco struggled all race, Jorge looked annoyed at the end. Something was up with the bike or more likely tyres.

I was chuffed for Maverick as he has had a rough couple of years.

And Pedro wow!

Surely there was oil or something that had been spilt onto the track? No way that all of those slides were down to damp patches alone

No surprise to see Marc and Binder adding to the carnage with their usual over-aggressive riding as well...

Total f***ing enigma is Pecco. Prone to really daft mistakes at times yet has largely become brilliant in high-pressure situations in the last couple of years.

Ducati have some dilemma on their hands as to who Bagnaia's team-mate will be next year

Martin, Acosta, Marquez. Who knows?

I'd to see it be MM, he'd rewrite the books. Mind Peco was unreal on Sunday, often wondered if he had the right stuff mentally, as when he's really pushed hard he tends to make mistakes, but he was an absolute beast in that race.

That late braking overtake was amazing. He came from sooo far back.
