I made the Chicken Chasni this weekend and I have to say it was really nice and it was throughly enjoyed. Didn’t take too long to make once you’ve got all your ingredients out it takes about 20 mins

Also made some aloo paratha that turned out more like thin indian potato scones , edible but not paratha by a long stretch
I often make chapatis to have with a dahl . Easy done with chapati flour , salt and water . Naans are easy enough too.I’ve never really tried to make the breads before but will have to learn at some point.
For general info . Just tried homemade chapatis in an air fryer, works great . One at a time highest heat , no oil . Puff up like good uns , add a bit ghee when cooked to keep em soft . Much less clart and smoke .I often make chapatis to have with a dahl . Easy done with chapati flour , salt and water . Naans are easy enough too.
I wouldn't ever order chips from the Indian for myself but one of the bairns ordered some once and they were very nice. I think part of the flavour probably comes from being fried in the same oil as bhajis etc so would be difficult to replicate without that.Does Al have a recipe for Indian chips?
Chicken pathia and chana masala for tea tonight.
