Surely they cannot be free to spend what they want unhindered by so called FFP. Adds to the suspicion that it's all just a smoke screen. If you have a club that's willing to spend shit loads they will go ahead and spend shit loads. What makes it worse is that the Mags have just gone ahead and bought themselves a mid table finish.

They've made a profit recently, we haven't. Their spending limitations won't be anywhere near as bad as ours.

They were well and truely turnover over by Swansea and Southampton (who I think will struggle this season) made them look good. The mags will be in the dog fight to stay up this season aswell.

They made a 35 million profit, while we made a 22 million loss.

They are the least of worries at the minute.

Said earlier this year he would spend big this summer before prices get even more inflated next year when the TV money arrives.

Makes sense.

The spending gap between them and us cannot be justified by ffp. They do not give the impression that ffp applies. We on the other hand seem happy to wheel it out on a daily basis.

We matched Southampton and apart from a poor spell in the last 10 minutes we could have very easily won the game, we played with a better possession based playing style and everyone is pleased with the way we are trying to play.

Swansea was bad but our record against Swansea is awful and they have invested well and are a good team, no shame in losing out to them.

We have brought in some good talent with more on the way, but we still need to strengthen the defence otherwise we will struggle to get past 11th-12th.

Relegation finally for your lot this season, battered off two big relegation contenders already, and buying shite like Kaboul and Coates, I know what position I'd rather be in.

The defence needs two first teamers (LB and CB) before we bring Thauvin in. Not going to happen before or after though.
