Must get Compton. I'll feel a lot happier then. Although he can stay there if the rest collapse around him.
 


The lads are bowling well without any luck, you get the feeling if one wicket falls two or three could follow quickly. 37 overs left after tea so still time for a collapse.
 
Going to be a long last session, hopefully we can skittle them. Do they even look interested in the target Harry?

Not at the moment, they're quite content to just pick up a single here and there.

Unfortunately the dropped catch has turned out to be the pivotal moment in this innings.

All seems a little stale now. Just got in and got the wireless on, Marty sounds resigned to a draw. Need a quick double strike!

Arshad on at the Lumley End. Wonder whether spin may be worth a try......
 
This had potential for a great finish but sadly it just seemed to fizzle out. Very in-offensive bowling from us when we had them at 2 down combined with a very sturdy recovery from Somerset has robbed us of the chance of a result.

No Cricket for the first team next week but the seconds are playing a 3-day friendly against Scotland starting Monday at the Racecourse if anyone's interested.
 
We could even get a handshake here...... Nothing doing at all for our bowlers.
