Yesterday Mags a deflection an og and a penalty, all our luck is bad luck.

How is getting a penalty luck? Unless it was an undeserved one, haven't seen the incident.

When was the last time we got a penalty?

We should have had a fair few therefore he's right in that it's down to luck. It's based on the ref and what 's going on in their biased mind at the time.

only to a point, did Peter Reid create his own luck changing the back 4 when we went on that great run the play off year or was it just injuries?

'luck' is dictated by circumstances.

Prepetation meeting opportunity.

The club were prepared enough to have that back four playing and the opportunity arose. They made the most of it.

nah  a stubborn manager had nothing choice but to change because he had to.

Just dumb luck.

Agree although some teams seem to get a lot more than others

An example would be a keeper saving a shot and out of luck it falling to a forward to tap in. It's not luck as they've taken the shot to work the keeper, yet at the same time the forward who the ball falls to has taken the chance to move into position on the outcome of the keeper knocking a ball into his path.

To use that phrase as if it is the truth, is what's rubbish. I'm not disputing that our most of our efforts on goal were poor, but you can't dismiss the element of luck, as if it never exists in life. For instance a deflection from a poor shot, is not of your making, but luck. We did have plenty of shots on target yesterday, and if one of those had gone in we would not be debating this.

It is not a case of not having luck but a lucky break would not go amiss.

Everton, smarmy Martinez would be perfect recipients given what they have handed us over the years.

Same against West Ham. We had over 20 attempts where as all of our deflected shots deflected wide!!!

You have to take the shot for it to deflect.

It's being prepared to do it when you have the opportunity.

That's like saying Frank Lampard is a lucky player because he has scored so many deflected goals. That's rubbish. In your words, he's made his own luck.
