1 out Pritchard 1 in, no forwards as they have repeated the mantra 4 forwards in the summer they believe it is true.

I’d love to think we’d get four (fullback, CDM, winger and striker) but I reckon two.

Think we’ll get a midfield player and a forward

With news of the Norwegian fullback coming in, my current thoughts are:

• Just this = poor window
• This and defensive mid = reasonable window
• This, DM, & striker = great window
• This, DM, CF, & Amad = I propose to speakman.

To be honest, I'd love it if we didn't need a striker, and one of our four came good, but I completely understand why people want a seasoned head up top. A left-footed fullback is an unfortunate necessity with the Huggins situation, so I'm glad this Leeds lad is coming in. Also, I can't escape this feeling that a dedicated pivot would allow our midfielders to express themselves further forward and compete for the other two central positions. As for a winger, I don't think we need one, but with Bennette going out on loan and Amad not getting games for United, you'd obviously love to see it happen.
