I was thinking there are a lot of similarities between the BCB fiasco and handshake-gate.

Both did something awful.

Both got caught out.

Both took to Instagram f***ing stories to issue a apology/denial/—lie— even though it’s perfectly obvious what actually happened

Both hoping it will get swept under the carpet when the story vanishes off instagram.

So Beale is in the wrong but he is only following the example of his chairman. The standards are set by those at the top.

Could RAWA raise the issue of key figures at the club communicating via instagram stories at the next meeting as I don’t think it is appropriate or professional and most older fans won’t see it.

I think from one angle, Hume when he is blanked, taps him on the left shoulder as he walks past but Beale offers no response.
