Joe Bonamassa - Sloe Gin
Al Stewart - Between the Wars
Free - Fire and Water
Led Zeppelin - III
Robin Trower - Bridge of sighs
Rory Gallagher - Irish Tour

My list could go on for a long long time ;)

Bit off topic but while youtubing that I discovered this. Phenomenal video.

Nice. Of course it's just TMC, not the Cocs :) The forgotten a-side of Song to the Siren, one of those where everyone remembers the b side

I wouldn't label it as the greatest, but I've been listening to Midlake; The Trials of Van Occupanther. Liked the band before this album and haven't listened to it for years.
Great album, and the follow up is excellent too

Sentimental navel gazing but I still have a soft spot for Love Chronicles by Al Stewart.....a young guitarist by the name of Jimmy Page playing on it too!

Ive tried and tried and tried but cant get away with this one. Loved 'Nightporter" & "Forbidden Colours" but this just leaves me cold. A bit similar to Scott Walkers acclaimed stuff in that respect.

Hats by Blue Nile is a great shout.

Three personal favourites:

Life's Rich Pageant best by REM imo.

Warehouse Songs and Stories by Husker Du.

White Light by Gene Clark

Great stuff.
"Hats" is surely an acknowledged great album by any criteria?
"Lifes Rich Pageant" ditto. Surely REMs greatest album?
Husker Dus stuffs always been a bit samey imho.
Ive got a couple of Gene Clarks albums but not that. Ill investigate.

The album that got me into Reed and the Velvets.

Television - Marquee Moon.

Always preferred "Adventure" mesel.
