At least we have a keeper in. Pickford is the long term answer but was never short term solution. We needed experience and Mika has song infront of prince Charles

That's probably what David Moyes said around 7pm tonight. We can't have seen him play, we're taking him completely on a whim.

This Mika lad must feel like he's won the lottery
One's he knew didn't get anywhere close I guess (Ruddy, Begovic)

Looking at his career and levels he's played at it does make you wonder just how we've come about to signing him and if there was any real point.

The 25-year-old has impressed in Portugal this season and he has earned plaudits for his performances.

However, Mika's contract expires in just over a year and, as he is unwilling to extend it, Boavista are ready to let him go.

That, according to A Bola, has alerted Leicester and they are now putting together a formal offer.

The Foxes are in the market for a goalkeeper this summer to provide competition for Kasper Schmeichel, with veteran Mark Schwarzer set to leave.

Leicester's recruitment maestro Steve Walsh has recommend Mika and talks are now due over what would be a £1m deal with Boavista.

Could be worse I suppose -we need back up in case Jordan isn't the second coming after all...until Vito gets better.
And if he gets any game time and does OK he will still have resale value as he's only 25......
