Deaf club

Is it really though?
As a person with partial deafness I don't mind jokes about it at all, in fact I make jokes about it myself, one of which has been deleted!
Self deprecating jokes are usually made as a defence mechanism, though.
Omid Djalili, Stephen K Amos, Rosie Jones and the likes all used to open their shows by stating the obvious, to get it out of the way with. Amos still does cos after "I'm black and I'm gay," what else does he really have?

Besides though, being partially deaf is probably a little different to being partially black or partially Asian.

If we came on here making flippant jokes about race or religion, there'd be bans all owa.

Just my take though, marra.

Yes. I think you ll find jokes like that is a form of hate crime. If you joke about black people then it becomes a racism topic. Same principle.
