Maybe should have played them again. The fa cup merchants on here will be happy with the full strength display today though v Palace

what do you honestly expect? Its backfired spectacularly he totally burst our bubble just as it was gathering steam and it was so unnecessary thats what stings.
He did what he thought was best to staying up, most likely a mistake but Premier League is more important for Poyet and owner at this moment in time, he;s shown he's potentially a very good manager it's only because of Poyet that we have any hope in the first place.

Winning games gives momentum, we saw that with the League Cup. Instead he didnt even try and beat Hull and then we perform like that today, in which was apparently a massive game. If we'd won last week the fans and players would have had a great boost for today.

If you were on a 1m quid bonus to stay up what would you have done?

We had 6 days rest after hull. He prioritised the league at the expense of trying to win something and it backfired. Sorry but he's a manager paid f***ing well to make big calls and rightly or wrongly the buck stops with him, and I can't see any evidence to suggest he got it right. If we stay up and he makes is half decent we'll all suck his dick so he also needs to accept criticism when he gets it wrong.

We also saw the not arsed performance against Arsenal before the cup final, it can work both ways and we don't know if it gave us anymore momentum, having said that like i was pissed off about the team he put out, he did make a mistake.

you can have an old school ^^^^^^^^^^^this

The performance today was a world away from the Hull debacle.

I do question why we would start the cup final, our biggest game in recent memory, with Borini as the main striker and not bother to do it against Crystal Palace in our supposed biggest game in recent memory. That's questionable... the rest of it is down to the lack of quality by the players to put the ball in the onion bag.

as he said 2 steps forward and 2 steps back, wembley will seem a long way off come august.

it was obvious to anyone the players would be deflated and the fans would be edgy in this must win game. it was a schoolboy error thats what rankles and he wont even admit it.

someone get the water and oil handy. the bus is making some f***ing awful clunking and hissing sounds
